Drilling engineers in the making.
The Texas A&M Student Section puts members in the same room as the operators and service companies that hire drilling engineers, with the technical exposure and field experience to go with it.

AADE's Texas A&M Student Section closes the gap between a petroleum engineering curriculum and the job that comes after it.
Every other week we bring working drilling engineers onto campus to talk about the problems they solved that month. Bit selection, hydraulics, wellbore stability, directional planning. Members get technical exposure, industry contacts and recruiting access that a syllabus does not cover. Our officers are students. Our speakers are the people who will interview you.
What we actually run
Four programs, repeating every year. Each one puts members in front of someone who can hire them, teach them, or both.
Semester dates are announced to members by email and GroupMe.
Our team
Twelve students run this chapter. Come to a lunch and learn and introduce yourself to any of them.
